VegFund Programs

Food Sampling

Our VegFund event grants provide funding for specifically approved vegan food, serving supplies, educational literature, and any table/booth fees (preferably at non-veg events or to an audience that is not familiar with vegan food or philosophy). VegFund does occasionally cover the above items for an event organized by a recipient, but these events MUST serve only vegan food.

Video Outreach

Video Outreach is VegFund's newest grant program. The purpose of Video Outreach is to expose people to videos that inspire a vegan lifestyle. There are many possible forms of outreach that fall within this program, including Pay Per View, online media outreach (e.g., online ads), and theatre showings (e.g., screenings of Fowl Play and Peaceable Kingdom).

Merit Awards

We provide merit awards to individuals and small organizations who have demonstrated consistent and effective vegan advocacy and are involved in current or proposed projects that are in need of funding. You can apply for yourself or on behalf of an individual or organization who you believe is worthy of an award. Typical awards, especially for first time recipients, range from $500 to $1,500. We do occasionally fund larger requests.
